DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, WE ARE CURRENTLY ONLY ABLE TO TAKE FUNCTIONS OF UP TO 17 PEOPLE PER BOOKING. 

The Whister can cater for all types of functions from birthdays, corporate parties, and weddings. Book just a table, your own section, or our 'back room' for your event.

Platters

 

Each platter covers approx 10-12 people

Mixed Pizza Board - $98
Chefs selection of mixed pizzas.

Whistler Cheese & Meat Platter - $145
Selection of cured meats, cheese, house-made dips, warm olives, dried fruit, nuts and flat bread. Ideal for appetisers and grazing.

Mini Burgers & Wraps Platter -$175
A selection of mini cheese burgers & BBQ chicken wraps

BBQ Meat Platter- $175                
Selection of dry rubbed chicken wings, arancini balls, 

cajun beefskewers & dips

Seafood Platter - $175
A seasonal selection of seafood including oysters, 

squid and battered fish

 

Grazing Table - $15 per person (minimum 20pp)
Large selection of cured meats, house-made dips, warm olives, fresh fruits, nuts, breads & more

 

 

 

FAQ's

 

How many people does the venue hold?

 

The back room will any function up to 80 people (not all seated). Please feel free to come in at any time to look and discuss. 

 

We do require a minimum of 35 people to book the back room on a Friday and Saturday night.

 

Can I play my own music?

 

Yes, you may bring your own music playlist or own live entertainment. 

 

Can I decorate the area?

 

Feel free to decorate the back room how you like. (only one rule, No Glitter)

 

Do I have to order platters for functions?

 

You may order individually from the normal menu or from the function platters menu. Each platter does approx 10-12 people. We will need a week’s notice for the platters.

 

Can I start a bar tab?

 

Yes, you may start a bar tab to any amount.

 

Is there any cost involved in booking the function room?

 

No, it is free function room hire.  We do however require a $200 holding deposit for the back room bookings. This can be used on the night towards food or drinks.  Deposit will be held if cancelled within three weeks. 

 

If you would like your own bartender in the back bar then you can pay just $200 for your own private bartender. 

 

Can I bring children?

 

Yes, children are welcome

 

Can I bring a cake?

 

Yes, we can store the cake in our coolroom
